Everything you need to write about us
Journalist, blogger, or simply curious: below you'll find the boilerplate you may reuse, the facts you can verify, and the limits of what we claim.
pers@mensishealth.comWe haven't launched yet
Mensis is not in the App Store or Google Play yet, so there is no coverage. You will find no user numbers, no download figures and no reviews below, because we don't have them. The moment that changes, it goes here.
Boilerplate
Mensis is a Dutch cycle app that tracks menstruation, hayd and qadaa in one place. The core features are free and stay free; that is written into the terms. Data sits in a database in Frankfurt, the app contains no advertising, attribution or analytics SDK, and no model is trained on what users log. The deen module — hayd status, ghusl reminder and a qadaa counter per hijri year — passes a fiqh-qualified reviewer before release. Mensis is a product of Mensis Health B.V. in Tilburg and is currently in development.
Reuse it without asking, in whole or in part. Let us know if something is missing.

What we don't claim
This category is full of claims that are slightly stronger than true. To stop you repeating ours, here are the limits — the same ones on our homepage.
- Not end-to-end encrypted. Data sits readable in our database; what limits access is procedure and logging, not mathematics.
- Not fully European. The data sits in Frankfurt, but some of our suppliers are American. That means something under the CLOUD Act.
- Not a medical device and not contraception. A prediction is an estimate based on your own history.
- Not a fatwa. The deen module is a tool; when in doubt, consult a scholar.

The logo is below as an SVG, so it stays sharp at any size. App screenshots follow once there is a build that matches what will be in the stores — earlier makes no sense.
